The Kids On The East Side Of Town Poem

Hi everyone, what you’re about to read is a poem that I wrote for my story. It’s focusing on Liam’s life after dealing with tragic grief and loss, I think it’s very powerful because you get to see how he’s feeling and you get to see his friend’s insight on seeing him suffer . I wrote it, the other day . This is just something small, until the new chapter comes out. I hope you enjoy reading it. Ok, here it is .

It’s All In His Head

Things are taking a turn for the worst for Liam, it’s just like a never ending curse. You think that things will get better but it just keeps on getting worse . All night long, he just faces the wall, wishing that he was dead. His mates weren’t there, oh no, it’s all in his head .

No good can come for Liam, no good at all. It was three AM, exactly, the time where he met an unfortunate tragic fall. He fell off his bed during the night and he faced the ground . When he hit the ceiling, it made a horrifying sound.

His friend almost fell out of his bed. He felt slightly dizzy and he almost bumped his head. As he opened the door, he couldn’t believe what he saw. He looked down and he saw his friend lying on the floor . Liam mumbled to himself, he said ” Oh, I can’t take it anymore ”. Shut the door !!!! .

Things just keep on getting worse for Liam. His parents have no idea what he’s going through. Liam is just sick of himself and he doesn’t know what to do .

He can hold on just a bit longer, perhaps he’ll feel a lot better tomorrow. He can still live with grief, but now he’s just in deep sorrow . His friend is begging him to stay. He just wishes that he was dead every day .

” Oh Liam, would you please just stay a little longer, I want you here with me. If you stayed, oh my goodness, just imagine how amazing you’d be. Just imagine the life you’d live and you could move on and you could get a job. Not just doubt yourself and sit in your house and sob . You’ve come such a long way, you’ve got big bright future ahead of you. Oh, if you just read this note, oh what amazing things it would do. If only I could be with you .

Hi Liam, hope you’re doing well, it’s been five months since you were gone. Just let me know if you change your mind. I need you here with me, I don’t wanna leave you behind .

” My days are over, I’m an Eagle, set me free”

” If you see an Eagle fly by, think of me ” .
