King Of Comedy

Right so, a few weeks ago, I watched this film called King Of Comedy. King Of Comedy is about a guy called Rupert Pupkin and he is obsessed with becoming a comedy great . When he confronts his idol, talk show host, Jerry Langford, with a plea to make an appearance and to perform on The Jerry Show, he has been given the run around, however, he doesn’t give up . He keeps trying to stalk him, he eventually kidnaps him in this house, tapes him up and terrorizes him . What I learned is that he didn’t just want to meet him, but he also wanted to have his life and it just became out of hand . Robert De Niro played the role of Rupert, his performance was sublime, he made the character look so crazy and you just find out that most of it was just imagined in his head, none of the stuff really happened, which was hilarious . Oh my god, Robert De Niro, what a revelation, he’s so good at acting, he’s an amazing actor, his character was like crazy, he was so similar to the joker, just very deranged, similar in comparison . Robert De Niro starred in many 70s and 80s films, he was the epitome of those eras . His scenes were so hilarious, they just had me in stitches . Me and my family sat down and watched it, we loved it . He just doesn’t give up, he keeps trying and trying and in the end, he got what he wanted .  Jerry Lewis played the role of Jerry Langford, he did a good job .

One of the most funniest things that happened throughout the film, was that everyone kept getting his name wrong, they all kept saying Pumpkin, it was hilarious . Sandra Bernhard played the role of Masha, oh my god, she ate up that role, she was so good, he character was crazy, she was another stalker, but she was great in the film . Overall, the film was a cinematic masterpiece, it can never be remade today, that’s for sure, it has to be left untouched, the originals are better .

I definetely recommend watching this film, it’s so funny that you will die of laughter, I almost did . So yeah, thanks for reading this post, stay safe, have a nice day, I love you, bye .
