Big Wednesday

A few months ago, I watched a film called Big Wednesday. Big Wednesday was a film that came out in the 70s. It’s about three friends, who are Matt Johnson, Jack Barlow and Leroy Smith. They are young California surfers in the 1960s . At first, they are reveling in the care free world of girls, beaches and waves, but eventually, they must face the fact that the world is changing around them . There are also some elements of the Vietnam war as it interrupts . I really love this film, it really made me happy and emotional at the same time, but I guess that’s just what good films do to you . This film has a very powerful storyline, you start to feel sympathetic for some of the characters. The story is great, the actors are great, what more can you ask for ?. My dad first saw this in the 70s and he wanted to introduce it to me . I love watching new films because you never know, it could suddenly be one of my favorite films and it certainly is . It’s gonna be one of those films that I’ll remember when I’m older . It’s just amazing . The dad has immaculate taste, he likes old stuff, I’m grateful for that, cause I love old tv shows and movies from the 50s, 70s, 80s and 90s, you just can’t beat them, the 70s and the 80s were the golden ages of films . The soundtrack is amazing, it’s such a shame that it never came out on LP .

Jan Michael Vincent plays the role of Matt Johnson, William Katt plays the role of Jack Barlow, Gary Busey plays the role of Leroy Smith, Sam Melville plays the role of Bear and many more .

I totally recommend watching this film, get some popcorn, put your feet up and maybe get some tissues too . Thanks for reading my post, I hope you found this useful, stay safe, love you, have a nice day / night { Depends on what country you are in} .
