In The City, Mocumentary Script, Behind A Smashed Window, There Is A Truth

{First scene, Tucker is walking outside}

Tucker} Did I tell you about this weird system that the council thought of, ok, so basically, they made up this system where nobody is allowed to take walks in the park if you have these thin layered shoes, but you can enter the park if you have these metal iron boots, I don’t know, I just think that it’s bogus to be honest, nobody is gonna walk on the concrete with space boots, they just need a massive life sized DR martin boots tied on the ceiling and let it boot you in the face and knock out a tooth or 2, and Jason is probably included in that too, I’m not surprised at all .

Next scene, Everybody is in Jason’s office}

Delsin} This is an English saying, yeah, money is money, money is money , brother .

Jason} Delsin, what the hell are you talking about ?.

Delsin} About money, read the first word, you’ll get it in no time .

Jason} Why do you have 10 pounds in your hands ?.

Delsin} Because it’s money, 1o pounds, 10 bloody pounds, { Then he drops it on the table angrily} ” It’s money, money is money, Reh !!!!!! .

Jason} Delsin, sit down .

Tucker} Why are we here ?.

Jason} Oh um, well there’s something I need to talk to you about .

Leroy} What do you want to talk to us about ?.

Jason} It’s about a smashed window .

Delsin} Oh geez, a smashed window ?.

Jason} Yes that’s right, I wanna know who did it .

Delsin} Woah woah woah, you can’t jump to conclusion so fast, how do you know that it’s one of us ?.

Jason} Because, you are the only people who are in my office, who else would it be ?.

Tucker} Well, it could be Amanda, she’s another example, she probably brang a brick in a pillowcase, we all knew that the shit would hit the fan .

Jason} No, don’t blame it on her, you don’t have any evidence .

Tucker} No, Jason, don’t give me that bullshit, I know that it’s her, she was the problem since the first day we met .

{ Tucker’s read}

” Anyway, Jason is in another world, he thinks a bird did it, god bless him .

Tucker} She did it, we all know she did it, we all agree with ourselves, but we don’t agree with your stupid conspiracy theory, ok, boom .

Jason} She didn’t do it, ok, how do you have any evidence, do you have recorded footage on a CCTV camera ?.

Tucker} No I don’t, cause I am not a paranoid freak . { Then he dusts his hands together}

Jason} You don’t need to be a paranoid freak, there’s no point in accusing somebody of a crime if you don’t have bloody evidence, like, what’s that ?.

Tucker} But there is a point, because I have seen her doing it, just her showing up, gives me phychopath rogue vibes, you know, there’s a voice in my head, my brain talks to me, and it says that she’s involved in it .

Jason} I’m not going to jump to conclusion, I wanna know if anybody else did it, first .

Delsin} And, what answer are you looking for ?.

Tucker} Yeah, you ain’t getting anything from us, forget that .

Jason} Well, what I mean is, did any of you guys get involved in the damages ?.

Tucker} No, don’t accuse me, I don’t punch windows in, who do you think you are talking to ?.

Jason} Ok, that’s fine, Lawrence, were you involved ?.

Delsin} Oh hell no, I haven’t punched or karate chopped a window in pieces in my life .

Jason} Are you sure about that ?.

Delsin} Yes I’m sure, why are you looking at me, for, you think I’m wrong in the head ?.

Jason} No, of course not, but at the same time, you are .

Delsin} Well, that’s just offensive, I bloody hate you .

Leroy} Why are you accusing us for smashing your windows ?, don’t you think that you might of done it, instead ?.

Jason} No, why would I smash my own window, that’s just bang out of order .

Delsin} Yes, Jason, it is, but you are out of order as well , you can’t accuse that of being out of order, when it’s the same with you, might as well just say that you are the window, to be honest .

Jason} But I am not the window in this situation .

Delsin} Yeah, you are the window in every other situation .

Jason} No, that’s not true, I am not a window, did I say that I was ?.

Delsin} No you didn’t, but you are saying it now .

Jason} Omg . { Then he face palms}

{ Lawrence’s read}

” Jason needs to put his foot down, he’s literally on a furlong, bloody riding along in a field, going nowhere, and they need to send somebody down there on an even bigger horse , followed by another horse and stop him from leading himself into the world of utter bullshit .

Jason} Look, you really need to get a grip on this .

Tucker} Me, why me, why do I have to get a grip on this, why can’t you ?.

Jason} Tucker, please, I don’t have time for your bullshit .

Tucker} Yeah, and I don’t have time for yours either .

Jason} Oh for goodness sake, right, meeting has come to an end, see you tomorrow .

Tucker} Hah, or not .

{ Few minutes later, everybody is outside}

Tucker} I don’t even know why you are blaming us, what have we done ?.

Jason} I know but, I’m gonna throw caution to the wind and say that one of you probably did do it, I don’t know who else would run outside of my office and cause trouble, if anything, I should be stopping them for doing it, not getting involved in this, myself .

{ Then they see a person running outside with a brick in a pillowcase}

Tucker} Oh shit, what’s that ?.

Jason} I don’t know, { Then he runs up to the person to see on who it is}

Jason} What the hell are you doing, who are you ?.

Amanda} What do you mean, ” What am I doing ?”, I am doing my job , what’s it to you, anyway ?.

Jason} Ok, first of all, what is that in your hand ?.

Amanda} Oh, it’s a brick in a pillowcase . { Then she lifts it up so that he can see it}

{ Tucker makes an attempt to run away} ” Oh , forget this ” .

Jason} No, where are you going ?.

Tucker} The person’s got a bloody brick in a pillowcase, can’t you see ?.

Jason} Amanda, I’m very sorry but, was you the one who smashed my window ?.

Amanda} Yeah, so what ?.

Tucker} See, I knew it .

Jason} Tucker, shut up, anyway, this is unacceptable behavior, I apologize but, you have to pay charges .

Amanda} Right, and why do I have to do that ?.

Jason} Cause I am your boss, I am your boss .

{Then Amanda hits Jason on the head with the brick in the pillowcase}

{Then Jason drops on the floor for 3 minutes}

{Few minutes later}

Tucker} Jason, what the heck was that ?.

Jason} I don’t bloody know .

Delsin} Why did she have a brick in a pillowcase ?.

Tucker} Probably because she is phychopathic .

Jason} Yeah, could of told you that , 5 hours ago .

Tucker} See, it wasn’t us, you were proved wrong .

Jason} Yes I know, Tucker, keep the volume down, my head still hurts .

{ Tucker’s read}

” See, it wasn’t one of us, it was Amanda, I told Jason yesterday and his stupid brain couldn’t process anything, well now he has to live with the consequenses .
