In The City, Mocumentary Script, The Day Out

{First scene, Tucker is walking outside}

Tucker} Ok so, right over there, we once had this swing, and once, somebody witnessed the swing moving forwards and backwards all by itself , and they thought that it was something to do with witchcraft, but Jason probably thought that she was taking the piss, and we don’t have it anymore, Jason had to get rid of it, cause there was a massive amount of money to pay for it, so, .

{Next scene, Everybody is in Jason’s office}

Delsin} Is this a time loop or something ?.

Jason} A time loop ?, no it’s not, why do you say that ?.

Delsin} Cause it feels like one, every single day we experience the same shit .

Jason} But, you are not in one, forget the idea, ok .

Delsin} I think that I am in one, and I’ll never forget the premise .

Tucker} Jason, why did you bring us here ?.

Jason} Well, I think that it’s time that we done something fun .

Leroy} Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, very interesting, god, what are you like ?.

Delsin} What do you think is fun, tossing a plastic cup in a nearby recycling bin ?.

Jason} No, I never said that .

Delsin} Well, what did you say ?.

Jason} Nothing !!!!!! .

{ Then there’s a silence in the room}

Jason} Look, um, we are gonna go on a road trip .

Tucker} A road trip ?.

Delsin} And, where do you want to take us, Kowloon ?.

Jason} No, where the heck is Kowloon ?.

Tucker} Look, if you’re gonna take us somewhere, where the hell are you gonna take us ?.

Jason} Well, we are gonna go down the West End, does that sound fun ?.

Delsin} That may sound fun to you, it doesn’t seem fun to me, whatever that is .

Jason} It’s quite nice down there though, there are places to explore, I think you guys will like it .

Leroy} No, I’m not gonna go to a place where there are millions of pigeons, ok, that doesn’t sound right, it sounds rank .

Jason} There are pigeons but the place isn’t famous for that .

Delsin} I don’t know, it sounds like a lot of bullshit to me, tell me that it does to you too .

Jason} It’s not though, it’s really fun, you must be bored doing the same thing day in day out .

Tucker} Well to be honest, I’m not, I never get bored, I don’t know what you’re talking about, I’d rather hunt for bloody ghosts in the basement then going to a place where you chase pigeons on a roof .

Delsin} Yeah and I’d rather create echos from the walls, at least they don’t drag me to a place called best friends or whatever it’s called .

Jason} It’s called West End, and I’m taking you guys whether you like it or not, ok, lets go .

{ Now, they have reached there destination}

Tucker} Omg, look at this place, man, can’t believe it .

Jason} Yeah, it’s good isn’t it ?.

Tucker} No .

{ Meanwhile , Leroy is chasing the pigeons}

Leroy} Omg, look a pigeon, { Then he calls Lawrence} ” Lawrence, come and have a look at this pigeon ” .

{ Delsin walks over to him} ” Ahhhhhhhh, help me, please ” .

Leroy} Look, it’s only a pigeon .

{ Delsin walks off} ” I’ve had enough .

{ Few minutes later}

{ They are walking on the street}

Jason} Hey guys, have any of you seen Lawrence, anywhere ?.

Tucker} No, don’t think so .

{Then they turn around and see a bus, and finds out that Lawrence is on it, and he tries to drive it}

Jason} Oh shit, Delsin !!!!!! .

{ Then it shows Delsin zooming down the road and crashing it, at the same time}

Delsin} Haaaaahhhhhhhh, hahhhhhhhhh, crash crash crash crash !!!!! .

Jason} What the hell is he doing on the bus ?.

Tucker} I don’t bloody know .

{Then Jason and Tucker get on the bus}

Jason} Delsin, what the hell are you doing ?.

Delsin} I’m driving, innit, I thought ,” What a great time to learn how to drive ”, and I was right .

Jason} No you wasn’t, just look at the people, they look frazzled .

Delsin} No don’t be silly, they are loving it, just look at them . { Then he stops and goes all serious} ” Maybe, we should go ” .

{ Then Jason bumps into a person on the bus} ” Oh shit, sorry .

{Then the person turns around}

Person} Shake hands !!! .

Jason} Ahhhhhhhhhhh . { Then he runs off while dragging Delsin with him too}

Delsin} Jason, what’s going on ?.

Jason} Don’t ask .

{ Tucker’s read}

” What chaos, first of all, we walk in the street, and Leroy chases the pigeons, and the next thing I know, I see Lawrence driving and going ape shit on a bloody bus, what is this ?.

Tucker} What the hell is going on, why did we get off ?.

Jason} Just look behind you .

{Then Tucker turns around and sees the person}

{The person bangs on the windows of the bus while shouting} ” Rahhhhhhhhh, shake hands !!!!! .

Tucker} Oh no, not him again, lets just go back before he sees us .

{ Delsin’s read}

” Yeah, I don’t quite know on what the hell happened, Jason jumped out of his skin, but it’s fine, you know, the same thing happens to him when he sees himself in the mirror, so that’s how you know that nothing can get worse, well, it’s already worse as it is but, it’ll stop it from being terrorizing .

{ Now, they are back at the office}

Tucker} Dear lord, what the hell happened there ?.

Jason} I don’t know, ok, how am I supposed to know, it was a bloody curfew, that’s what it was .

Leroy} How did we come to terms with that guy again, I thought we got rid of him .

Jason} Well, unfortunatly, we closed the book on the wrong part, or we closed the book and it kept opening, same thing .

{ Leroy’s read}

” This is the most weirdest day of my life, I mean, I’ve had even worse ones but, this one was on another level, it’s like a myth but an event that actually exists , and nobody can tell you that it doesn’t, which is weird, I guess, but, the truth is, is that you can’t escape from a close encounter with somebody that stalks you, you’ll meet once and then it’s predicted that you’ll meet again in the nearer future .
