In The City, Mocumentary Script, The Power cut

{First scene, Tucker is standing outside of his house}

Tucker} So many things happened since you were gone, ok so, firstly, Jason got a new air conditioner built in his car, because we had a little accident, I basically punched it and the material got smashed to bits, and I got a small scar on my fist but it’s ok now, and he had to pay for charges, but he should of just glued it, would of saved half of the trouble, but what can you do ?.

{Next scene, everybody is in Jason’s office}

Jason} Ok guys, do any of you know why any of you are here ?.

Delsin} No, I don’t think that  I’d want to know to be honest .

Jason} Why not ?.

Delsin} Cause no, just no, ok, that’s my answer, ok , what’s my answer ?, no, is that ok, officer ?.

Jason} You are winding me up today .

{ Then the light switches off}

Tucker} Oh god, oh god, oh my .

Leroy} Why is the light off, I thought that we turned the light on, how the hell has this occurred ?.

Jason} I don’t know, Leroy, you tell me .

Leroy} But you should know, because you were alive in the 19100s, you were here since the first light bulb was invented, how on earth can you not know ?.

Jason} No Leroy, I wasn’t around in the 19100s, otherwise, I would of been 90 or a 100 now, I am 50, there is no age gap there .

Delsin} Is this literally what happens when you get 2 dogs to fight in an lift, is this what it’ll sound like, I guarantee you that they would have the same conversation as well .

{ Delsin’s read}

” Leroy and Jason are like 2 shih tzus, they’ll just keep on talking shit and urinating over every opportunity and subject that gets near them .

Tucker} Can I just ask you something real quick ?.

Delsin} Yes .

Tucker} If you dressed up as a character for Halloween, what would you dress up as ?.

Delsin} To be honest, I’d dress up as you, so I would take the piss, and what would you dress up as, hm, you’d cosplay as an idiot, you’d go to sleep as an idiot, and when you wake up, you’ll still be an idiot and you’ll breathe idiot and Jason would be cosplaying as Lady C .

Tucker} What, is that what comes to mind, is that all what you can think off, Jason cosplaying as Lady C ?.

Delsin} Yeah I don’t know, I think that he would play the role really well, and he’s the exact character, he’s just a old woman trapped in a body of a young man, or then, or then, if you think about it, he’s pretty much a old woman trapped in the body of old woman .

Jason} What was that ,  sorry ?.

Delsin} I’m sorry but you have the job of sorting out the light problem, it’s none of your business, don’t stick your noise up in my business, cause it wasn’t yours in the first place .

Leroy} raaa , how long is the electricity gonna be off for ?.

Jason} I don’t know, Leroy, do I look like I know, well that is wrong, cause I don’t .

Leroy} So why are you a councillor then ?.

Jason} What do you bloody mean, why am I councillor then, It’s not my fault that I don’t know on how to fix the electricity, I’m not the flipping Steve Jobs of the electric society .

Tucker} Omg, the electric society, you are more stupid then we are, honestly .

Delsin} Hey guys, do you know what ?.

Jason} What is it, Delsin ?.

Delsin} Can you bloody show some respect, please, I don’t need any input from you, you chippy oik .

Tucker} What is it, we all wanna know on what you have to say, if it is shit, I don’t wanna know .

Delsin} Yeah, like you have something better to say yourself, you can never pass the standards, never .

 

Jason} Can you just stop talking guff, and just get straight to the point, get to the bloody point .

Delsin} Ok so, I tried this thing, yeah, called the ghost hunting simulator, yeah, and the system said that they are some ghosts here in this office .

Leroy} Hah, guff .

Jason} Ghosts, here, in this office ?.

Delsin} Yes, it said it, and maybe it’s true, I’m not surprised if there are any ghosts here .

Jason} There are no ghosts in this office, I assure you .

Delsin} Are you sure, because that’s what it says on the simulator .

Jason} Well then, the simulator wrong, you can’t trust these sorts of things, they are made to fail, do you understand ?.

Delsin} No it’s not, there are ghosts, and I’m talking to them right now .

Jason} Delsin. what the hell is wrong with you ?.

Delsin} There is nothing wrong with me, you are a ghost, all of you are ghosts .

Leroy} No we are not .

Delsin} Well, that’s what they tell you, anyway .

Jason} No, Delsin , are you ok, do you want me to call a therapist ?.

Delsin} No, don’t you dare, if you call a therapist, I’m going to chop your arms off, I thought that we made an agreement, don’t call one, don’t you do it .

{ Jason’s read}

” This is great, this is great, I’m having a great time, Lawrence has completely lost it, and we are stuck in the dark, please help us ” .

Jason} What is your problem, what the hell are you talking about ?.

Delsin} If you ask me that question one time, I swear to god, yeah, I’ll break your legs and use it as a skateboard and then I’ll take your eyeballs out and use that for wheels to help me get around, just look at you, you are more potty then I am, admit it .

{ Then the light comes back}

Leroy} Oh look, the light turned on, what a miracle, am I right ?.

Tucker} Yeah, I’m sort of ok with the light being off, doesn’t really mean that much to me anymore .

Delsin} Wow Jason, aren’t you glad ?.

Jason} Yes I am, Delsin, yes I am, we have light in the office but there’s no light at the end of the tunnel, I suppose .

Delsin} What do you mean, you started this off, you should of believed me, now you get curse .

Jason} No Delsin, it was all you, you have gone mad, you believe that ghosts are real, and you think that we are the ghosts, how the hell can I believe you if you talk utter bullshit ?.

Delsin} You create the bullshit yourself, I don’t give it to you, you are not educated, wake up .

{ Then the light turns off again}

Jason} Oh for god sake .

Leroy} Wow, good luck with that . { Then he walks off}

Jason} Where are you going, did you see the light, we can’t keep it like this .

Leroy} Yes we can, you’ll grow into it .

Jason} How do I grow into a power cut, it’s not possible .

Leroy} Yes it is, anything is possible when you put your mind to it .
