In The City, Mocumentary Script, Delsin’s Lost Shoe

{First scene, Tucker is making marks on the floor with a twig}

Tucker} This is a chart that I have been making, it’s basically a chart for how I many times I assume that my house is haunted, and I draw a line every time I think about it , I have always assumed that my house is haunted, I see reflections but also my coins keep vanishing, and I am not mad .

{ Everybody’s now in Jason’s office}

Tucker} Hi Jason, why are we here ?.

Leroy} Yeah, why are we here ?.

Jason} Well, Delsin has got something to share with you .

Delsin} Yes, I have lost my shoe .

Tucker} Your shoe ?.

Delsin} Yes .

Tucker} And what do we have to do with it ?.

Jason} Well, he assumes that one of you guys stole it .

Tucker} I didn’t steal it, why are you looking at me ?.

Delsin} Yes you did steal it .

Tucker} No, I didn’t .

Delsin} You are probably saying that now, but later, you are gonna go home and open your closet and discover that you have a house version of JD .

Tucker} You don’t even have any evidence, Jason are you seeing this ?, if this doesn’t baffle you, you are not a human .

Jason} Tucker, did you steal it or not ?.

Tucker} Of course I didn’t .

Leroy} Are you sure that it didn’t get lost by going down a manhole or something ?.

Delsin} What ?, no, are you bloody for real with me ?.

Leroy} Well no, things can end up falling down there .

Delsin} Yeah you, you’d end up falling in there, and you’d be hanging on for dear life, now stop telling me lies about this shoe .

Tucker} You have a big problem with blaming people .

Delsin} Oh really ?, you are lucky that I don’t have the shoe, right now, I would of threw it across the room at you .

{ Delsin’s read}

” I am fuming with rage, why do I even walk with shoes ?, just walking, going about my day, waiting for the shit to hit the fan .

Jason} Why don’t you just go to JD ?.

Delsin} Oh for goodness sake, man, JD, heh heh, no no .

Jason} No seriously, you can invest in another pair .

Delsin} Do I look like I have a full wallet ?, I’m not loaded , can’t even afford Hovis bread .

{ Leroy’s read}

” Oh ho, it’s about to get real .

Tucker} Why are you flipping out over a shoe ?.

Delsin} Cause I like shoes, I love my shoes, I love them, and it’s none of your business .

Jason} What brand is it ?, Adidas ?.

Delsin} Yes of course it is, it’s not gonna be spats .

Tucker} Hey Delsin, I think I found a picture of your shoe .

Delsin} Oh really, show me .

Tucker} Ok, { Shows him the picture on his phone}

Delsin} What the actual heck ?.

Tucker} Isn’t this your shoe ?.

Delsin} Of course it’s not, look at it, it look like a spat .

Tucker} But isn’t that what your shoe brand is ?.

Delsin} No, of course it’s not, where the hell are you, you and your brain of yours, honestly .

Leroy} Why is this such a problem ?.

Delsin} Because, shoes !!!! .

{ Tucker’s read}

” I have no idea on why this is such a big event in his life, it’s a shoe, you are not gonna die if you lose a part of you, you know, you are not Voldemort , ok just shut up, like, shut up .

{ Delsin’s read}

” I swear , if Tucker says that he stole my shoe, yeah, he’s a dead man, dead man walking .

{Meanwhile, Delsin’s attacking Tucker on the floor}

Tucker} Whoop, Delsin, what are you doing ?.

Delsin} You tell me where the shoe is, and I’ll  get off of you .

Tucker} I don’t know where the shoe is, do I have to know, is it such a crime to not know ?.

Delsin} Yes it is .

Tucker} Ok, if you don’t let go of me, I’ll go absolute ape shit .

Delsin} Well, where’s the shoe ?.

Tucker} Ok, It’s in my bag , I’ll get it , hold the fort .

Delsin} Oh ok, cool .

{ Tucker gives back the shoe back to Delsin}

Tucker} Here, you happy now ?, you maniac .

Delsin} Yes, you can say that , yes .

{ Then he suddenly realizes that it’s not his shoe}

Delsin} Omg, hold on a sec, this is not my shoe .

Tucker} Huh ?.

Delsin} Who’s shoe is it, then ?.

Tucker} Do I look like I know ?.

Delsin} Well, we should go and look for it .

Tucker} Who’s we?, no mate, there’s no we, you are gonna do it by yourself .

Delsin} Oh for god sake .
