Apartment 25, The Country Club Script

{Johnny looking out of the window and making fun of every person he sees

Johnny} Omg look at this person here, what is he doing ?, he’s probably reversing his car , why is he going side ways ?, hey James, come and have a look at this .

James} What is it ?.

Johnny} There are people doing stupid things again .

James} Oh really ?.

Johnny} Oh yeah, oh god , this guy is gonna kiss this girl now , kiss her , just bloody kiss her, what are you waiting for ?.

James} I could watch this all day long .

Johnny} Yeah me too .

{The phone rings }

Johnny} The phone is ringing , I have to get this call , it might be a friend or something .

James} Ok cool .

Johnny picks up the phone} ” Hello, yes, uh huh , a Country club ?, ok, I’ll think about it , ok goodbye . { Puts the phone down } .

James} Who was that ?.

Johnny} It is one of my friends, it sounds like he’s throwing a party or something , he is asking me if I want to go , I don’t know, should I go ?.

James} I think you should go .

Johnny} I don’t like parties, it’s a country club, I don’t like those as well .

James} Have you ever been to any country clubs ?.

Johnny} Yeah I went to one once, it’s not  really my thing .

James} What do you do in country clubs anyway ?.

Johnny} Oh, you just dance and do things like that, they are very popular .

James} Yeah , but you don’t like dancing .

Johnny} I do like dancing, it’s just , not around large groups of people , I’m not a social person anyway .

James} I have never been to any country clubs but from the sound of it, it sounds awful .

Johnny} Yeah , it is absolutely awful, I can’t even dance anyway , I could do a dance now, and you’d die of cringe .

James} Well, do a dance, and I’d tell you on what I’d think .

Johnny} I’m warning you, you will regret this .

James} Just do it , I can’t predict anything before things happen .

Johnny} Ok .

Johnny{ Does a dance }

James} Ok, you were right, I didn’t like what I was seeing .

Johnny} Ok, I don’t like dancing, it’s like Butlins and it is very cringy  , I went to a country club once and I saw somebody dancing, I threw up all over the floor .

James} Wow, now that is a story .

Johnny} Why would I want to go to a country club, I’d rather just do parkour on the walls .

James} Yeah, you can just cancel your invitation if you think that you can’t do it .

Johnny} Yeah, I think I should, that’s a good idea .

Johnny} Ok, bad news, I can’t cancel it , there are no refunds .

James} Really ?, that’s a shame , where is the country club anyway ?.

Johnny} Oh, it’s in that place , it’s like a pub , but they are doing a occasional evening , there’s nothing special about it .

James} Oh wait, is it in that place where they hold proms ?.

Johnny} Yeah, that place is so claustraphobic , I could honestly just feel the walls coming close against me .

James} Yeah , well I think that you should go .

Johnny} Really ? .

James} Yeah it might be fine at the end of the day .

Johnny} Good point, in that fact, I’m gonna go and attend it .

James} Cool .

Johnny} Ok, see ya .

 

{A few minutes later, Johnny has returned back from the country club }

Johnny} I’m back .

James} How was it ?.

Johnny} How was what ?.

James} The country club .

Johnny} Oh yeah, it was great, I never felt so alive .

James} Really ?, so you overcame your pet peeve for country clubs ?.

Johnny} Yes I did, you better believe it .

James} Well that’s good , did you have a few drinks ?.

Johnny} Ok, yes I did .

James} Right, so you didn’t enjoy your time there ?.

Johnny} Exactly , it was the worst day of my life .
