Stranger Things

For the past few months, I have been watching a Netflix show called Stranger Things . If you’re not familiar with the show, it is about a group of kids who live in town that has mysterious supernatural events going on in it . I really love this show, it’s amazing, it’s literally one of the best shows I have watched in so long . The actors bring out their A game and they all did a great job . The show is set in the 80s and there’s so much nostalgia, it’s crazy . The characters are great and so interesting . I just finished watching it last night and oh my god, I am blown away. The last episode is so emotional, I ended up crying, I just couldn’t handle it, I am not happy with what happened to Billy, he sacrificed himself for El and he didn’t deserve what happened to him but he was a hero . One of my other favorite characters, is Eleven . Eleven is a girl who has superpowers, she can shatter glass and she can also control things with her mind, it is so cool . She started off as a little girl who was been experimented on by scientists in the Hawkins lab in season one, in season two, things kind of changed and in season three, she tranformed into a real girl, she found herself in season three, she found her style in clothing and other stuff too .

My most favorite character is Steve Harrington, Steve Freaking Harrington, what a great character . He started off as a despiteful jock in season one, in season two, I started liking him, then in season three, he became the best character in the whole series, he is a pretty damn good babysitter, hahaha, Steve had the best character development, change my mind.

I liked his chemistry with Robin. I liked all the characters . Will goes missing in the beginning, he vanishes into the upside down . I’m not gonna say too much because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone . But the last episode made me cry, it was just a perfect way to end the series . I can’t wait for season four to come out, but for the mean time, I’ll be binging Stranger Things all over again . I think the actors and actresses did a great job, I was laughing, I was crying, you just can’t touch the show, it’s too perfect .

 

I loved season one, loved season two, loved season three, I ain’t complaining, it was absolutely perfect . Don’t even start me off on Alexie, I was about to cry, he didn’t deserve it, he really didn’t . But I really love the storylines, there’s no doubt about it . It’s just one of those shows where you know that something bad is gonna happen, there’s just so many twists and turns everywhere, I love it . If the Duffer brothers kill off Steve, I’m gonna sue them, I hope he doesn’t die in season four, we need Steve the hair Harrington alive and well . I really love how they did all the fashion and the hairstyles, it’s so 80s, I felt like I was watching a show or a film from the 80s, it was done so well . I literally formed a crush on Steve Harrington, I am obsessed with him, he is a mum of five children, he has to have loads of jobs and he has to work at Scoops Ahoy to make money for his children, he is a busy man, lol, but um yeah, I have a crush on him, I have several images on my phone that are related to him, Joe Keery is an amazing actor, I just love him so much, everytime I watch videos of him on You Tube, he always puts a smile on my face, he never fails to make me smile, I always watch interviews and Steve Harrington clips whenever I’m feeling down. I also formed a crush on Finn Wolfhard, I saved like hundreds of images on my phone, I have like a lockscreen of him, including one on my laptop, I have a crush on him but also he is an amazing actor, I really hope that he goes far in life, he is a really talented young man, he can sing, he can act, isn’t there anything that he can’t do ?, he is literally amazing, I hope he gets involved in more movie roles, he’s got a good thing going here, so yeah I love him, I love him so much, I also love Noah Schnapp and also, I love Charlie Heaton, I really loved Jonathon in the show, he just cared about his brother and his family and friends, I rooted for many of the female characters as well,  I have a crush on several characters so, there’s no surprise there, but um yeah I loved Steve, He was such an idiot in season one, but he took a turn for the good, that is some serious character development, he is a great character, I love his chemistry with Robin, Robin is a work colleage that works with Steve at an ice cream store, they are great friends, they laugh and they just enjoy each other’s company, I like the scene where Steve and Robin are in the bathroom and Robin tells Steve the truth about her sexuality and she came out as Lesbian, but the best thing was Steve’s reaction, he barely questioned her, he just made fun of her love interests, which was so precious, it was such a good coming out scene, it was so emotional, Maya Hawke did an anstonishing job in portraying her character, Robin was the clever, goofy one, she helped crack the Russian codes, it was such a good addition to the story .

There were elements of Russian invasions and shreiking absolute havock all over the place and it was like the cold war or something, it was quite good, all though, it was quite chaotic and stuff and I had no idea what was going on, but I love a good adventure, so I’m not complaining at all .  Billy Hargrove was also a very interesting character, his entrance was killer, he was very mean and I didn’t really like him, he was really abusive to Max in season two, but he had quite a tough childhood, he had an abusive father and he had family issues, Dacre Montgomery did an amazing job, he made the character believable, he was like a typical 80s bad boy, like with his mullet and like he does training whilst smoking, he was quite scary, he was a great villain . I feel like Dacre Montgomery should take the role to play one of the vampires in the new The Lost Boys movie, I think he would be great, he is really good at portraying those sorts of characters, he is a great actor. He also made Billy a really attractive person, like I would fall for him sometimes. Me and my mum watch Stranger Things together sometimes, she has like the best reactions to the show, as soon as she saw Billy at the start of season three, she was like, ” Is he wearing lip stick ?” and I was like ” Yeah, so what ?” and she was like ” That isn’t good, isn’t it ?” and I was like ” mum, why are you focusing on his lip stick, he’s a bad boy, for god sake, he has qualities ” and we were like laughing all night, I just teach my parents all the interesting events from the show . But yeah, I didn’t really like Billy, he was a total jerk, but when I found out about his past in the show, I started to understand and I felt sorry for him, he didn’t deserve with what happened to him in the end of the series . He was this phychotic character. As soon as he got a job as a lifeguard at the Hawkins community pool, he started flirting with the married mums who were hanging out there, and that was like really weird, also, in season two, he had an affair with Karen Wheeler { Who is the mother of Mike Wheeler} And they were like in love with each other, and as soon as I saw those scenes, I was like ” What the hell is he doing ?, Karen is like older then him and they’re dating each other, that’s basically incest, but it was ok I guess, it made the episode, it just showed us how crazy Billy really was, hahaha . The cast really bring out their A game, the comedic writing was great as well, they couldn’t of picked a better cast, the cast is perfect. Even my dad can relate to the show, he was around in the 80s and he recognized most of the references and objects that were around during that time, it’s just so cool to have something to relate to and your parents can tell you stories about their lives back in the day, it’s really facinating .

 

Another friendship that I really loved was Steve and Dustin . Steve and Dustin’s friendship was everything . It’s one of my favorite ships in the show . It’s right up there with El and Max and Steve and Robin’s . Their friendship was one of the best parts of season three, in my opinion .

Another one of my favorite characters is Erica . Erica was hilarious . She is just so sassy and so street smart . Her lines are so funny and so iconic, she was a great character . She is Lucas’s little sister . She started off as a annoying little sister in season 2 and she became an even bigger part in season three because she became a part of the team . She was just a great character . Priah Furguson did a great job in portraying her character .

Another one of my favorite friendships in the show, is Max and Eleven . Max and El’s friendship was the best part of season three . And the fact that they hated each other in season 2 and they are friends in season three is just amazing . The scene where those two go shopping is iconic, it’s my favorite thing ever . How is it not iconic ?. Like it’s a whole montage of them trying on clothes and having so much fun and when El makes that drink explode in that girl’s face . How can you not like that ?. Especially with Madonna’s Material Girl playing in the back round, it’s just fantastic . That scene will never not be iconic . That moment happened in season 3, episode two, The Mall Rats, so watch out for it . So um, who’s gonna tell Max that El made her fall off of her skateboard ?, haha .

 

 

Millie Bobby Brown plays the role of Eleven, Natalia Dyer plays the role of Nancy Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo plays the role of Dustin Henderson, Finn Wolfhard plays the role of Mike Wheeler, Charlie Heaton plays the role of Jonathon Byers, David Harbour plays the role of Chief Jim Hopper, Noah Schnapp plays the role of Will Byers, Winona Ryder plays the role of Joyce Byers, Caleb Mclaughlin plays the role of Lucas Sinclair, Sadie Sink plays the role Max Mayfield, Joe Keery plays the role of Steve Harrington, Cara Buono plays the role of Karen Wheeler, Dacre Montgomery plays the role of Billy Hargrove and many more .
