Some More Film Recommendations Of Films That I Love

Hi guys, welcome back to Big Blog Theory, I hope you’re all doing well. I’ve got some more film recommendations for you guys. As you all know, I love films, I love cinema, I love storytelling and stories. Cinema is an art in itself, I think films are just wonderful and there’s nothing better than after a really long day to tune out and get lost in a great film with a wonderful story and wonderful characters. I’ve picked out three more recommendations for you. These are just some more films that I really love and that I adore that I recommend to others. So enjoy

So the first film I recommend is Ill Postino or The Postman in English. Ill Postino is an Italian film and it’s one of the most beautiful films I have ever watched. It came out at some point in the nineties and it’s about this young man who is a postman and he becomes friends with this poet. It’s a beautiful film about the power of words and poetry. I love this film so much, I’ve seen it twice now. Wonderful film. The main actor who plays the post man is so cute and I couldn’t help but smile like an idiot throughout the film. I cried like a baby when I watched this movie, it was so beautiful. This film inspired me to get back into writing poetry when I was in a bit of a slump. I think every poet should watch this film. It’s a really beautiful film and it’s shot so beautifully. I think the fact that the guy who plays the post man died during the making of the film makes it even more heartbreaking for me. It’s so sad he didn’t even get to see the film, it makes me so sad thinking about it, he was sick, but he left his mark on the world. Words cannot explain how much I love this film, It’s like one of my absolute favourites. I thank my dad for recommending this film to me and we all watched it together as a family and we all fell in love with this film. I love Italian films, two other great Italian films I love are Cinema Paradiso and Mediterraneo, I hope to discover more. This film has got everything in it, friendship, romance, wisdom about life, poetry, everything and the soundtrack is incredible. I love the friendship between the post man and the poet and it taught me so much about poetry and the power of words and metaphors. One of my favourite scenes is the one where the poet is trying to explain the use of metaphors to the post man, it makes me laugh every time I love that. I totally recommend this film, It’s stuck with me and it’s one of those films that never leaves you. Check it out when you get the chance. This is the kind of film I would recommend at a film club or a book club, I feel like it deserves so much more recognition, it’s such a beautiful story and it connects you to these characters.

So the last film I recommend is Picnic At Hanging Rock. I love this film, it’s an Australian horror thriller mystery film. It’s basically about this all girls school who go out on a picnic near the cliffs but things suddenly take a dark turn when some of the students and a teacher go missing. It’s a very good film and it kind of freaked me out slightly when I watched it for the first time because it was a very unique horror mystery film, it’s very mysterious. You don’t see any gore but it’s still creepy. I think it was a really beautifully filmed horror film. The

It came out in 1975 and I really love it. The cast is great and it generally keeps you guessing throughout the film and I generally felt like I was on this picnic with the girls and experiencing the horror and disappearances first hand. I’ve not read the book but people say it’s really good too. Another thing I love about the film is that the writers leave it to your interpretations so it’s never fully revealed what happens in the end but the audience can make it up, I really like that, I like a bit of mystery. I totally recommend this film to those of you who like weird, strange mystery horror films. After watching this it became one of my favourite films and it generally made me wonder what actually happened to those girls. It’s really different to a lot of horror films because throughout the film you don’t really see much but there’s also a really sinister element to it and it’s really eerie. Fantastic film

The last film I recommend is To Sir With Love, I love this film so much. This is a very special film for me, an absolute classic. It came out in the sixties,  One of my favourite Sidney Poitier films. He plays the role of this teacher who comes to this school and teaches this really rowdy class of students but they don’t accept him because of his skin colour and it deals with racial issues especially at that time and he just tries to win over their respect. This is an incredible film with an amazing cast and it’s written so well. You’re constantly rooting for him because he really cares for these students. When I first watched this I had all kinds of emotions and the ending was beautiful and heartwarming. The scene where the class finally accepts him and respects him for who he is and they’re looking at him smiling and they’ve come such a long way brings a tear to my eye. Beautiful film that I recommend everyone to watch in their lives, This film teaches loads of important lessons about youth and how you treat others. I don’t think I will ever fall out of love with this film. I love To Sir With Love and I love Lulu’s song. If I ever went to a film school and if I was asked to study a film of my choice I would choose this film or The Italian Job, both great films that bring me so much joy.

That’s all I have time for today, have a nice day wherever you are, love you guys so much, take care.
