Hayley} Hey, Joe.

Joe} Hey, what’s up ?.

Hayley} Oh, nothing really, Would you like to go and have a walk in the park with me ?.

Joe} I would love to, but I’m afraid I can’t.

Hayley} Ok, it is ok, if you are busy we can go another time.

Joe} Yeah, plus we can’t since we have a national lockdown.

Hayley} What ?.

Joe} We have a national lockdown, we can’t go into public places, we have to stay indoors.

Hayley} Yeah , but what the hell is a lockdown ?.

Joe} Are you kidding me , you don’t know what a lockdown is , haven’t you been watching the news, you idiot ?.

Hayley} No, I don’t watch the news, it overwhelmes people, and they are biased and racist.

Joe} Ok, the reason why we have a lockdown is because there is a deadly virus pandemic, so we have to stay indoors so they can slow the spread.

Hayley} Wait, so we are staying indoors, I don’t know what to make of this, I am gonna go crazy in under 5 days, I can’t handle this.

Joe} I know, I am just as disappointed as you are.

Hayley} So , we can’t go out ?.

Joe} Yeah, We can’t.

Hayley} We can probably sneak in and do our buisness, so we don’t get caught.

Joe} No Hayley, we can’t, We’ll get caught and they are giving people 1 million pound fines, we don’t have that sort of money.

Hayley} Woah, I can’t believe this.

Joe} I know.

Hayley} What is the name of the virus anyway ?.

Joe} it is called the coronavirus , but covid 19 for short.

Hayley} Coronavirus, Hah, what a stupid name, they probably thought that is the perfect name but it is crap.

Joe} Yeah, it is not a good name, I have to agree with you on that one.

Hayley} So, what the hell are we gonna do in this stupid pandemic ?.

Joe} I don’t know yet, Hey, heyyyyyy, woah woah woah, slow down.

Hayley} What, Joe ?.

Joe} You are supposed to stay 2 meters apart.

Hayley} Why do I  have to do that ?.

Joe} So that you don’t spread the bloody virus, Thank you.

Hayley} Whatever.

Joe} We don’t live in the same house , and we don’t live in a bubble.

Hayley} What the hell is a bubble ?.

Joe} Are you kidding me ? I am not gonna explain to you on what a bubble is.

Joe} sighs] Ok, a bubble is where you pick a few people that you can be with, unless you have to do social distancing.

Hayley} What is social distancing ?.

Joe} Urhhhh.

Joe} Puts on mask}

Hayley} OMG, Joe, what is that you are wearing?.

Joe}  Oh this, it is a mask, do you like it ?.

Hayley} No, it is disgusting, why are you wearing that ? Is that some sort of fashion or are you a doctor now ?.

Joe} No , are you being serious, ?a doctor, no , I wear this because of the virus.

Hayley} Do I look like I am sick or something ?.

Joe} No.

Hayley} ok so why are you wearing a mask ?.

Joe} Because it is a rule.

Hayley} ok, then.

Joe] I am not gonna risk my health.

Hayley} Yeah , whatever, do what you want.

Joe} Look, I don’t think you understand.

Hayley} No, I know plenty, you are hiding from the virus, and you are using every excuse you can find.

Joe} No, that is not right, it is not a joke.

Hayley} Yeah, I know, you can do whatever you want to hide from the virus, but I am never gonna understand, ok, I don’t understand what all of this means, I know what a mask is but I don’t know what a bubble or social distancing is.

Joe} Well, maybe you’ll understand if you watch the news.

Hayley} I am never gonna watch the news.

Joe} So how are you gonna understand ? can you read my lips or something ?.

Hayley} No, of course not.

Joe} This virus Isn’t a joke, people die from it.

Hayley ] Oh crap, I never realized it was that bad, so what you wanna do is actually milk the situation into a palava , ok go ahead.

Joe} Hayley, do you wanna catch the virus or not ?.

Hayley} No, but I am just saying.

Joe} You really make every situation as worse as it already is. I am taking safety precautions and you are dodging it, what the hell is that ?.

Hayley} I bloody never wanted to be in this position anyway.

Joe} Don’t we all, but this is the real world, not a fairytale.

Joe} You need to start treating subjects more seriously.

Hayley} I know, this virus is a piece of crap, but we won’t let it defeat us, we just have to rise above it.
