My Interests, What’s Made Me Who I Am Today, Self Love Talk

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. I have something very special in store for you guys today. As you all know, I have a blog . I try to post as much stuff as possible . I talk about music, film, world and society issues and I also share most of my fiction and writing with you . I really enjoy doing this. I’m very fascinated in music, film, directing, playwright, character studies, stories behind famous films, stories of how bands formed and stuff like that . I just find the world of art so fascinating and exciting . I find it really amazing how I can share my knowlege of certain subjects with you lot .

You will often see me talking about bands and singers from the 80s, cause I’m just obsessed with them . I’m always listening to 80s music . I am very big on 50s and 60s music as well. I listen to it all the time, love it love it love it . I also love film too . I always watch films because it gives me some escapism, I love films . I really love old films from the 60s and the 70s . Just the nuance of it. The stories always interest me .

Learn more about me

. Every time I see a sunset, I have to take a photo of it, like it’s so pretty and it’s not gonna be there for long, so I might as well take a photo of it . I love sunsets, I never used to be interested in them, but as I’m getting older, I’m starting to appreciate them, they’re gorgious . I think it’s because I love The Outsiders . I always watch sunsets for Johnny, haha .

. I listen to Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons pretty much every single day . Love them. Their music reminds me of The Wanderers. I love The Wanderers, such a great film.  I also listen to a lot of 60s music .

. I’m fascinated in the story of Joe Meek . I just find it very interesting . I promise you that I will do a post on that as well. In the mean time, I’m doing my research and I’m listening to more of the music . I’ll get that post up here as soon as I can .

. I love gang films like The Wanderers, The Warriors, The Outsiders, West Side Story and more .

. I really love teen movies from the 80s . They’re like my favourite things in the world .

. I love Dramas from the 60s and 70s, such as Night Of The Big Heat and The Incident and many more.

. I am obsessed with Thriller . { which is a TV horror series from the 70s}

. Love TV shows from the 70s .

I also love other stuff too but by the time I get through all that, I’ll just be rambling on.

But yeah, I just love old stuff . I love old films from the 60s and 70s . Those kinds of films inspire me to continue doing my writing .

On my blog, I talk about film, music, TV, writing and all that stuff, but I also talk about funny things like stories about my life, weird things I see on the streets, stupid people, funny encounters with celebrities, stuff I like to do in my free time, phases I go through, what it’s like being a 15 year old, navigating your way through life, just stuff like that . I enjoy posting stuff on my blog . It keeps me sane, if anything . It makes me happy and I hope it makes you happy too . I love blogging . I think the only problem I have is that there’s just so much to say . Every time I talk about music, or a film or a band, I will say something and then I press publish then the post is up on the blog, then I go ” Oh shoot, I have something else to say ”, then I’ll keep going back and writing more, when it’s already been published . I get this a lot . I just have so much to say. This happens all the time. That’s why I choose an artist who I don’t really care about that much, that way I’ll keep it nice and short, haha . But yeah no, I love blogging . I love talking about pop culture . That’s one thing I noticed over the years . This has been the one thing that has grabbed my attention . I’m interested in stories, I’m a very good listener . I find stories very entriguing and I might learn something from other people who have been through it all .

I think the one thing that I have learned from being on this planet is to be yourself . If you love yourself, you wouldn’t want to be anyone else . I really resonate with this . I have had a lot of self hate for a long time. I’ve always compared myself to other people . I just didn’t wanna see myself in the mirror, I didn’t even want to get out of bed, I didn’t want to hear myself, so I just blocked myself out of every conversation and I just pretended that I wasn’t even in the room, rabbit in the headlight moment . In some ways, I still feel like this . But I learned that you should never compare yourself to others . You’re only on this planet to be you not other people’s imitations of you . If you spend half of your life trying to be someone else, then you’ll lose your identity. You also shouldn’t compare yourself to others because you don’t know what their journey was all about . You don’t know what they’ve been through. You may think it’s all peaches and roses but that’s not entirely true . You should work on yourself, there’s only one you, you’re unique in your own way . You don’t need to act like someone else . That’s what I learned . I’m gonna work on myself and I’m gonna do what I love, I’m gonna take better care of myself .

I have big dreams, I’m gonna work really hard to get to where I want to be . I have everything I possibly need to go for it. I have an amazing, supportive family, they take my best interests at heart. I’m hoping to be a writer and a director when I grow up, I wanna write plays, I wanna  work with actors, I wanna make it very far in the world of playwright and theatre . I still haven’t heard from The Hackney Empire yet. We applied so I’m just waiting at the moment . I really hope I get in. If I do get in, I have written a list of activities I’m gonna do there .
