Joe’s Obsession With The Movie The Outsiders Script

Hayley} Hey Joe.

Joe} Hey, man.

Hayley} What the what  ?, hey what ?.

Joe} Oh no, I said Hi.

Hayley} Yeah but you said man, I am not a man .

Joe} I know, .

Hayley} ok.

Joe} What are you up to ?.

Hayley] Oh nothing, what about you ?.

Joe} Oh , yeah, I watched a film called The Outsiders .

Hayley} What is that ?, may I ask .

Joe} It is a film about these groups of kids, called the Greasers and the socials and the socials spark rivalries with the greasers because they are seen as different and they stand out.

Hayley} Wow, sounds very interesting .

Joe} It was amazing , I watched it like 20 times this week.

Hayley} Yeah really , I think that you might be obsessed .

Joe} No I am not obsessed, I just like it ok.

Hayley} Ok, .

Joe} everything about the film was amazing, the cast, the scenery, the special effects , and the story .

Hayley} Really ?, .

Joe} Yeah but it is very sad, the story is very sad , I am telling you .

Hayley} Really Why ?.

Joe} Ok well I am not gonna spoil it for you .

Hayley} Well I am not gonna watch it so , just tell me .

Joe} Ok, two of the characters die in it, I cried like 8 times during those scenes .

Hayley} Yeah, sounds like you really love it.

Joe} I do.

Hayley} Joe, do you wanna go outside for a walk ?.

Joe} Why are you taking me on a walk ?.

Hayley} Just for fresh air.

Joe} No, I think that you are lying , you think that I am going crazy, aren’t you ?.

Hayley} No.

Joe} Let’s just go anyway.

Hayley} Ok, we should go for a walk in the park .

Joe} Can we go to Tulsa ?.

Hayley} Where the hell is Tulsa ?.

J0e} It’s a place where they have the locations on where they filmed the movie.

Hayley} Joe, you do know that the place is in America, we are not in America, we are in London.

Joe} Right ok, I never knew on how much it sucked here.

Hayley} Joe, we don’t live in America, face the facts .

Hayley} Joe, why is there a whole in my bank account ?.

Joe} oh yeah, I ordered The Outsiders Merch .

Hayley} You are going close encounters crazy Joe, you need to let it go.

Joe} Why ?, It all makes sense, you just get obsessed with stupid old films with somebody sitting in the dark, like a bloody trance .

Hayley} First of all, I don’t watch films like that, and I am not a crazy person that pretends that I am related to a fictional character.

Joe} Yes you are, you don’t realize it.

Hayley} Oh for goodness sake.

Joe} Look, why don’t I just show you the film, so that I can prove that I am not crazy like you .

Hayley} I am not watching bloody anything .

Joe} Yes you are, get your butt over here .

Hayley} Ok fine .

[Joe puts on film}

Hayley} What is this, like a bloody trance , Is this The Wicker Man ?.

Joe} Shut up and watch it .

A few minutes later.

Hayley} Ok, I have to admit that the film is pretty good , sorry for doubting you.

Joe} Yeah, it’s fine .

Hayley} Omg, I can’t believe that he died, I loved him , he was great .

Joe} I know right .

[Hayley starts tearing up }

Hayley} Ok, omg , I loved Johnny cade, I can’t believe he died, Oh no not Dally too, he was my absolute favorite.

Joe} Yeah, he is a criminal like person but I still love him .

Hayley} You should of showed me this film earlier.

Joe} I know right, I never really had the right time .

Hayley} Yeah.

Joe} Hayley, if you had a time machine , what would you do ?.

Hayley} I would go back in time.

Joe} What time ?.

Hayley} Probably The 80s .

Joe} Why would you do that ?.

Hayley} So I could go back and secretly date Dallas Winston.

Joe} Yeah, When I saw Cherry Vallance, I liked her, but then she was the girlfriend of a member of the social’s gang.

Hayley} Yeah, plus she was a bitch to Pony boy Curtis .

Joe} Exactly.

Hayley} Am I the only one who cried when the scene with the sunset came up ?.

Joe} No, I cried to.

Hayley} I have never seen a film, so great like this one before .

Joe} Yeah me too.

Hayley} Yeah.

Joe} Ok, I am gonna go order my merch now.

Hayley} Ok Joe.

Joe} What ?.

Hayley} Make that a double, buy me some aswell.

[Joe and Hayley smiles at eachother]

Joe} Oh man, it is coming from America, what the hell is an American Dollar ?.

Hayley} Look it is fine, just be patient .

Joe} I know, it is just a bit dumb .

Joe} Yeah sure, what’s wrong ?.

Hayley} I have a crush on Matt Dillon .

Joe} Who is that ?.

Hayley} You know the guy ?, the actor who played the role of Dallas Winston ?.

Joe} Oh , yeah, that is perfectly normal , there’s nothing to worry about .

Hayley} What do you mean ” it is perfectly fine ?, I seriously have the image of him stuck in my mind .

Joe} Yeah, that’s fine aswell , anyway, the guy’s about 50 something , now .

Hayley} What ????? .

Joe} Yeah, the film was made in the 80s, like, come on, that was years ago .

Hayley} Well I don’t care, I am gonna make a time machine and go to find him .

Joe} And how are you gonna do that, exactly ?.

Hayley} Everything is possible, if you put your mind to it .

Joe} Oh, don’t be silly , you can’t build a time machine, you don’t have any of the right materials for it .

Hayley} Yes I am .

Joe} First of all, you have lost your mind completely .

Hayley} I don’t care , I have my errands .

Joe} You do know that  you can’t go find him in the past .

Hayley} Why can’t I ?, I probably can , you know .

Joe} Jesus Christ , Hayley , what is wrong with you , seriously ?.

Hayley} Nothing is wrong with me , you like the film , don’t you ?.

Joe} Yes a lot, but not like you, you  are potty enough to believe that you can  make a time machine .

Hayley} Well, I am doing it , and that’s all there is to it .

Hayley } See look, I made it , I may go , in like 2 minutes, I shall be in a different world , hopefully .

[ Joe cringes ]

{ Hayley disappears }

Joe} What a misfit, honestly .

{ 10 minutes went by }

Joe} Where in the all mighty world is she ?.

Joe} What the hell are you doing in my garden ?.

Hayley} Oh hello Joe, how is everything ?.

Joe} What the hell are you doing in my garden , did you go back to the 80s and meet Matt Dillon then ?.

Hayley} Sadly no, but I found this rock, might be ancient .

Joe} No, that’s my flipping stone that is in my garden , don’t say that you was here the whole entire time .

Hayley} It’s not my fault I ended up here , the stupid thing never works .

Joe} I told you that the time machine wasn’t gonna work .

Hayley} Well, let me tell you something boy, you don’t have the power of a phycologist , so how would you know ?.

Joe} Bloody hell, the whole thing is driving me crazy , first of all , time machines aren’t made for vanishing in somebody’s garden .

Hayley} From my point of view, time machines are pretty cool .

Joe} But I don’t think you know on how they work .

Hayley} Of course I do , I know exactly on how they work, it is you who doesn’t , don’t get me involved , I only wanted to go back in time .

Joe} Yeah, but that wasn’t exactly going back in time though wasn’t it , I mean, you ended up in my back garden , that isn’t exactly it .

Hayley} Well, what exactly did you expect it to do ?, go back in the ancient times .

Joe} Well I told you but you wanted to prove to me that everything is possible, and you failed to find that possibility .

Hayley} Yeah, that’s because , everything is possible, .

Joe} Where the hell did you even find that rock ?.

Hayley} Yeah, I found it in Ancient Egypt next to the ancient ruins and pyramids .

Joe} No you didn’t, you found that in my garden , you are just making shit up .

Hayley} Well I am not gonna say that I found it in a park , aren’t I ?.

Joe} Well, I just think that is stupid .

Hayley} Yeah but guess what , I have a proper imagination , boom, in your face  Joe .

Joe} Oh shut up , you clearly have no imagination , .

Hayley} And how do you know that ?.

Joe} I know it, first of all, you are not Marty McFly from Back The Future, .

Hayley} And you are not Doc Brown .

Joe} Hey, don’t compare me to him , don’t do me like that .

Hayley} Well, You are not , face the facts , you don’t have a car that can flipping take you back in time .

Joe} And you can’t build and use time machines correctly .

Hayley} Can we just shut up now ?.

Joe} Yeah, wanna come watch The Outsiders with me again ?.

Hayley} Hey, you know it .

Joe} Don’t even think about getting dirt on my garden patio .
