In The City, Mocumentary Script, Just Another Day In Jason’s Office

{First scene, Tucker is sitting on the floor}

Tucker} Woah, what a night that was, last night, I mean, it was terrible but it was an improvement, at least I don’t know what I’m talking about, I think I got punched too hard by the bartender, who knew that I was gonna get stuck in some weird trance ?.

{ Next scene, everybody’s in Jason’s office}

Delsin} Omg, why is the tea a blue color ?.

Jason} It’s not blue, it’s light brown .

Delsin} No it’s not, I swear that it’s not, I am telling you now, that I’m not color blind, it’s straight up light blue .

Jason} No it’s not, I think you are just recovering from last night .

Tucker} Why are we here, if we are sick, does it mean that we don’t have to listen to your shit ?.

Jason} No it doesn’t, it doesn’t make any difference if you are sick or not, you still have to come in here .

Tucker} Dang it .

{ Meanwhile, Leroy is texting on his phone}

Jason} Leroy, what are you doing ?.

Leroy} Oh nothing .

Jason} No, seriously, I know that you’re doing something, what are you doing ?.

Leroy} Ok, I’m texting that guy that kept stalking us, last night .

Delsin} Oh no, not shake hands, again .

Jason} Leroy, you can’t be doing this .

Leroy} Why not, he’s actually really nice, even though I had a bit of trouble with giving the phone numbers because he just kept on saying ” Shake hands”, but we got there in the end .

Delsin} But you seriously can’t keep in touch with him, he almost broke my hand .

Leroy} No, I’m sure that he didn’t .

Tucker} Leroy, you need to wake up, you have to let it go .

{ Then he tries to take his phone from him}

Leroy} No, what are you doing, leave it, give it back .

{ Delsin’s read}

” Who knew that a ghost from beyond the grave, would end up being Leroy’s friend .

Delsin} Let the phone walk, let the phone walk, let it walk away .

Leroy} Have you lost your mind or something ?, you do know that phones don’t walk , right ?.

Delsin} I do know that they don’t walk, I wish they did for this occasion .

Jason} Wait, I think you have a voice message .

Delsin} A voice message, oh hell no, just when you think it’s over, it gets worse .

Leroy} Yeah, don’t press it .

{ The voice message plays}

Voice message} You just got a new voice mail, press 1 to hear the message, press 2 if you want to make a new one , and press 3 of you want to erase the message . { Beep} ” Shake hands ” .

{ Delsin gets scared and bumps his head on the wall}

Tucker} Shit, Delsin, are you ok ?.

Delsin} Yes, I’m fine, Leroy, did you delete the message ?.

Leroy} No I didn’t, it’s still there .

Delsin} Leroy, delete it, if you don’t delete it, I’m gonna kick you so hard up the ass .

Leroy} Well, what button do I press ?.

Delsin} Just press 3 .

Leroy} Ok, did you say 5 ?.

Delsin} No, I said 3, don’t press 5 .

{Leroy presses 5}

Delsin} You better not have pressed 5 .

{ The voice in the phone} ” Voice mail copied , you have proceeded to have 5 copies of the voice mail ” .

Delsin} What, 5, no no no no no, erase erase .

{ Voice} ” Voice mail copied, would you like to double it ?” .

Delsin} No, please no, don’t copy the voice mail .

Leroy} Yes, I would like to copy the voice mail .

Delsin} No don’t . { Then he punches Leroy} ” Delete the voice mails, delete them or I will proceed to throw you in the trash .

{ Voice} ” Sending voice mail to Jason}

Delsin} No, don’t send it to Jason .

{Voice} Message sent, the voice mail with reach Jason’s phone in 10 minutes, do not disturb phone.

Delsin} Omg man . { Then he throws Jason’s phone at the wall}

{ Then Jason runs back in}

Jason} Delsin, what the hell was all of that noise ?. { Then he sees his phone on the floor} ”  Omg my phone, why did you throw it ?.

Delsin} There was a virus .

Jason} No there wasn’t . { Then he presses the button on his phone and sees the voice mail notification}

Jason} What the hell, I have a voice mail .

Delsin} Yeah Jason, I don’t think that you should check .

Jason} Why not ?.

Delsin} Just don’t .

Jason} I’m sure that there isn’t anything there . { Then he swipes right on his phone}

{ The voice mail}  You have one new message, ” Shake hands ” .

{Jason stands there with a creeped out face}

{ Delsin, Tucker, Leroy starts laughing}

Jason} You know what, just throw the phone in the bin, there’s absolutly no use for it now . { He throws the phone in the bin}

{Then Jason walks out}

{ Tucker’s read}

” Woah, Jason’s gonna be pissed at that, in the morning, and I didn’t even get to talk to him, he’s probably kicking and punching a wall, he’s the exact opposite of facing failure in the face, not failure, but just thick and stupidity .
