In The City, Mocumentary Script, Delsin’s Nightmare

{ First scene, Tucker is walking with his friends}

Delsin} You know what, I had this dream, last night .

Tucker} A dream ?.

Delsin} Yeah, where I was with Jason and you guys, and he suddenly started to speak Chinese .

Tucker} That’s bloody weird , how did that actually occur to you ?.

Delsin} I don’t know, I just get them , it happens normally .

Tucker} Well, I think that if it is based off of Jason, then that’s definetly not normal .

Delsin} Well, what should I do then ?.

Tucker} Well, I think that you should go and see a therapist , asap .

Delsin} Right ok .

{ Everybody’s in Jason’s office}

Jason} Hi guys, how are we ?.

Tucker} Yeah I’m ok .

Jason} What about Delsin and Leroy ?.

Tucker} Yeah, they are fine .

Jason} Delsin, how are you ?.

{ Delsin sits down in a very paranoid way}

Jason} Delsin, talk to me .

Delsin} What the hell , Jason, get out of my face .

Jason} What’s the problem here ?.

Delsin} Don’t speak Chinese to me .

Jason} What the ?.

Delsin} Don’t speak Chinese, don’t do it .

Jason} Do you guys have any idea on what he’s talking about ?.

Tucker} Oh yeah, don’t punch me but, he said that he had a dream about you speaking Chinese .

Jason} What the actual hell ?.

Leroy} It’s true, he was off all morning .

Delsin} Jason, why are you speaking Chinese ?.

Jason} Oh my god .

{ Tucker’s read}

” Yeah so if any of you didn’t quite get what was going on, basically, Lawrence had a dream or a nightmare where , he saw Jason speaking Chinese , I swear, it was probably real, I’d see that happening in real life, and it’s weird, I don’t blame him, if I saw that, I’d jump out of a window .

Jason} What the hell, why are you acting like this ?.

Delsin} hmmm, you spoke Chinese, nope .

Jason} I’m not speaking Chinese .

Tucker} Can you just give up on this ?.

Jason} No I’m not, shut up .

Tucker} Oh, you want some, you bloody want some ?.

Jason} No, I don’t want some .

Delsin} Omg Jason, can you just be quiet ?.

Jason} Excuse me .

Delsin} Do you know who I am ?.

Jason} Who are you ?.

Delsin} I’m Ronnie Pickering .

Jason} Who the hell is that ?.

Lawrence} That’s me .

Jason} Oh, get out of it .

Tucker} Guys , what are you talking about ?.

Jason} He’s saying that he’s Ronnie Pickering , I don’t know .

Tucker} Who is that ?.

Delsin} Omg, that is me .

Tucker} No, you are not though, you are Lawrence .

Delsin} No I’m not, who the hell is Lawrence ?.

Tucker} It is you .

Delsin} Are you taking the piss ?.

Jason} You are not Ronnie Pickering, and I’m not talking Chinese .

Leroy} Bloody hell, this is gonna be a long day .

{ Leroy’s read}

” Can somebody tell me who is Ronnie Pickering, I am lost .

{Jason’s read}

” I’m telling you , that man, there’s something wrong with him, I need to admit him to an asylum .

 

{ Delsin’s read}

” I’ll forever be Ronnie Pickering, Ronnie Pickering for life, forget Delsin, that’s a rubbish name .
